This role will assist the Food & beverage team with their various administration responsibilities, team communications and function execution whilst adhering to a strong compliance focus. The successful candidate will focus on the beverage stock control process across the Caulfield and Sandown racecourses.This role will be required to travel/work between Caulfield Racecourse and Ladbrokes Park (Sandown) Racecourse. We are open to a full-time 5-day or Part Time 4-day week, please make a note in your cover letter/resume of your preference.Duties of the Food & Beverage AdministratorAssist in the management of TASK stock management system, including data entry and reportingEnsure all beverage purchases and stock transfers are tracked via TASK and internal invoicing systemsContinuing opportunities to improve stock control practices and beverage contract complianceAssist front-of-house team with various administrative tasks for raceday’s and non-raceday functions (e.g. menu creation, function administration)Coordinate, collate and distribute F&B department communications.Assist beverage team with monthly stock take process at Caulfield and Sandown to ensure information is sent to finance within required timeframes.Assist with ensuring safety compliance within the departmentSkills & Experience Previous experience within a hospitality and/or administration roleExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines while prioritising multiple tasksExcellent time-management skillsExperience with stock management/Point of sales systems (Desirable)Proficient experience in Microsoft Office Why join Melbourne Racing Club?
