As well as running elite horse racing at Caulfield, Ladbrokes Park (Sandown), and Mornington Racecourses, we own 14 pub venues under the Pegasus Leisure Group (PLG), an emerging collection of owned events such as The Peninsula Picnic and the MRC Foundation, our charitable arm.Reporting to the CRM Manager, the CRM Specialist will implement and optimise our CRM strategies and systems to enhance customer engagement, drive sales and improve overall customer satisfaction. Based at Caulfield Racecourse, this role will collaborate closely with other teams like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure seamless integration and maximise the value of our CRM platform.The successful candidate will have strong analytical, technical and communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.What will my responsibilities be?Develop and executive CRM Strategies aligned with the business to enhance customer engagement, retention and loyalty.Implement and configure CRM systems, ensuring strong data management.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify CRM requirements and customize workflows, processes and functionalities accordinglyEnsure accurate and up-to-date customer data within the CRM systems, integrating and building on our segmentation strategy to deliver audiences based off demographics, behavior and preferencesCollaborate with data teams to enhance data quality ensuring relevant and actionable insights for campaign targeting and personalization.Design, executive and monitor targeted marketing campaigns leveraging CRM capabilities such as email automation, segmentation and personalisationManage end to end campaign process from briefing to execution using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.Collaborate with Marketing to develop customer journeys, nurture leads and optimise conversion rates.Track campaign performance, measure key metrics and provide recommendationsConduct A/B testing and multivariant testing to optimize campaign elements including subject lines, content, calls-to-action and visuals.Analyze test results and iterate on campaign strategies based on data-driven insights.Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in CRM campaign delivery, incorporating innovative approaches into our campaigns.Qualifications/Experience RequiredTertiary qualifications in Marketing or related disciplineAt least 5 years’ experience in a CRM or direct to customer marketing role within a fast-paced, high volume, diverse operation.At least 3 years work experience in the areas of campaign management, utilizing CRM platforms and digital marketing (or working within an agency).Strong technical knowledge of database programs, their operation, and administration, CRM, and data analyticsProficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.Demonstrated experience in acquiring, analysing, and utilising market intelligence/competitor analysis/research techniques.Hands on experience using Salesforce Platforms like Marketing Cloud (Desired) and Service Cloud (Desired not essential)Has experience copywriting for direct to customer campaigns (Desired, not essential)Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines What’s in it for you?Ongoing learning & development opportunities through the organisation-wide DRIVE Development program.Access to our year-round well-being initiatives including our Employee Assistance Program for staff and family.Racing Industry Member passes, discounts across our family of brands and free tickets to a wide range of events.Free onsite parking or a short walk from Caulfield Station.Paid Volunteer and Parental Leave.Free monthly staff lunchesMelbourne Racing Club values differences in gender, age, ethnicity, race, cultural background, disability, religion, and sexual orientations and encourages all suitable applicants to apply for this role.  AUD Caulfield 3162
