Application Support Analyst

We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Application Support Analyst to join the IT Team at MRC, based at Caulfield Racecourse. In this role you will primarily provide application support across several applications across MRC including the core business application, Ungerboeck.This dynamic role will be responsible for technical optimisation as well as supporting business process improvement, primarily within Ungerboeck but also other business applications in use at MRC.What will my responsibilities be?Provide departmental support and training on Ungerboeck and other core applications.Monitor and maintain Level 1 and 2 tickets via IT Help Desk and ensure that all Ungerboeck and other core applications requests are responded to within 24 hours.Communicate to the broader organisation changes and enhancements in relation to functionality within Ungerboeck.Liaise with the IT department, and the Ungerboeck Customer Success Manager broadly regarding further development of Ungerboeck including upgrade scheduling (all Ungerboeck environments).Facilitate and collate results and feedback from User Acceptance Testing for Ungerboeck and related applications.Contribute to the strategic direction of Core Applications/Platforms for MRC.Scope, prepare, develop, and present standard and ad hoc Ungerboeck and other applications reports as required.Drive ITSM/ITIL processes within the organisationContribute to the continuous improvement of the application support function by maintaining awareness of technology developments and making appropriate recommendations to enhance application services.Conducts workshops together with the relevant department/ project team to define application requirements to fit MRC business model.Skills & ExperienceMinimum 2 years’ experience using an ERP application within a medium/large company.Ungerboeck System Administrator or Ungerboeck Certification would be advantageous, however is not essential.Experience in complex IT projects involving legacy systems and new technologies.Intermediate knowledge with Microsoft 365 and related applications.Commercial background experience.Lead and contribute to the maintenance, improvement, and introduction of software development best practices.Ability to deliver user training on system configuration.Basic SQL skills would be ideal but not mandatory.Possess basic theoretical and conceptual know how of business process improvement and business analysis concepts.Strong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure & in a team environmentStrong logical problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detailStrong time management and prioritisation skillsWillingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge.Why choose MRC?The Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) is one of Australia's most prestigious Sports, Events and Property Development companies.
